Humane Education
Humane education involves more than just teaching about animals. It teaches children respect and compassion for ALL living things. It should include kindness toward domestic pets and the humane treatment of all living creatures. Children should be taught this at home from an early age. Children should be encouraged to act with kindness towards animals. They should also be encouraged to report animal abuse to an adult if they witness any incidents that could be classified as animal cruelty.
